भूकंप-रोधी भवन का आकार कैसा होना चाहिए ?
उत्तर
किसी भूकंप-रोधी भवन की संरचना की निम्नलिखित विशेषताएं होनी चाहिएँ--
(1) भवन की योजना साधारण आयताकार होनी चाहिए ।
(2) लंबी दीवारों को थोड़ी-थोड़ी दूरी पर मज़बूत कंकरीट के स्तंभों से सहारा देना चाहिए।
(3) TLU तथा X आकार के भवनों को छोटे-छोटे आयताकार टुकड़ों में बॉट देना चाहिए।
What should be the size of an earthquake resistant building?
Answer
The structure of an earthquake resistant building should have the following characteristics-
(1) The plan of the building should be simple rectangular.
(2) Long walls should be supported at some distance by strong concrete pillars.
(3) TLU and X shaped buildings should be divided into small rectangular pieces.
